What is the purpose of this service?

This service is designed to be an easy way for you to get multiple bids on your direct mail projects. Instead of spending countless hours calling shops or searching among websites, you can simply fill out our easy Request For Quote form and have your job specs sent to direct mail and print shops for bidding And since we pre-screen our participating vendors, you could be assured you’ll only deal with reputable companies that can handle your project.

How is it determined who gets to quote my job?

We use a combination of factors to match your project with mailers and printers that are best suited to handle it. All our participating vendors give information about themselves on the types and sizes of jobs they can process efficiently. That way when an RFQ comes in, we know which companies should see it. Also, geography can play a role in determining RFQ distribution. We would rather send your RFQ to a local shop that can handle the project, rather than one across the country.

How many mail shops will be e-mailed my Request For Quote (RFQ)?

This will change depending on your job specs, but we only allow a maximum of six direct mail providers the opportunity to bid upon your project. And on average, you will get three to four bids for your RFQ.

What if there is a particular mail shop I do not wish to send my specs to?

We understand that you may be currently working with a mail shop that you are unhappy with. That is why we allow you to specifically remove a current vendor from the distribution of your RFQ. When filling out the specs of your job, there will be a specific question that addresses this situation.

What if I need an immediate quote?

There is a section in the RFQ where you can indicate when the job will be ready. If you select “ASAP – please send quote immediately”, you will usually see your first quote within the hour, and sometimes just minutes after you submit your RFQ.

What if I don't have anything to mail now, but I want to check to see if the current pricing I am getting is competitive?

We recommend NOT filling out the RFQ unless you have a job and are seriously considering using this service to find a direct mail provider. Our mailer and printers spend a great deal of time calculating their quotes, e-mailing and calling with questions about job specifics and following up on each job. We do not wish to cause our participating vendors an undue amount of work unless there is a reasonable chance they will be awarded the direct mail project.

1) RFQ SERVICE

DirectMailQuotes.com offers a service that allows you to submit Request For Quotes (RFQs) to multiple suppliers. Your contact information is sent to the suppliers so that they can reach you with questions or send you a bid on your project. A maximum of six suppliers are given your contact information. We are not suppliers ourselves and are not part of the transaction between you and the supplier. By using this service, you acknowledge that these suppliers can contact you regarding your RFQ(s). These contacts are necessary to provide a quote that is accurate.

2) SUPPLIERS

While we always work to send RFQs that meet the minimum criteria (accurate contact information, all required questions answered) to our suppliers, there is no guarantee that suppliers will quote your project. We seek to enlist only the highest quality suppliers, though we do not guarantee the quality or the credentials of the suppliers who receive and respond to your RFQ. As MH is simply a conduit for matching buyers with suppliers, we are not responsible for any transaction that may occur between you and/or your company and a MH participating supplier. MH does not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of the information provided or the products and services sold. You should exercise as much caution as you would typically exercise with any purchase of products or services.

3) FULFILLMENT OF SERVICE

Fulfillment of service is between you, a buyer, and one or more of our service providers. MH has no involvement or responsibility in the fulfillment of service. Should you have a dispute with any supplier, you must address such dispute with the supplier directly. You hereby agree to release MH (and our employees and agents) from any and all damages or claims (including consequential and incidental damages) arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes and your transactions with suppliers.

4) GENERAL TERMS

You acknowledge and agree that the MH website and bid matching service are provided to you on an "AS IS" basis without any warranty whatsoever. You agree to indemnify MH, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and co-branders and hold them each harmless from any and all claims or demands, including attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising from your use of the DirectMailQuotes service.
